Start. Or not.

I'm a Christian.
There. I said it.
But what does that mean, exactly? And is there any reason to read what a Christian has to say about things?
I have no idea. But thanks to the internet I have a chance to find out.

So, here's what you can expect:
just as the title and name of this blog suggest, I approach things differently. Some fresh thinking on these old--older than time itself--concepts.
And, hopefully, my thoughts on these things will allow you to think about eternity and God and salvation and... all that stuff a little differently, too.

Alright. Quickly, I'll explain the foundation of these ideas that will be coming at you in pixel-form. If you find that you don't believe in these things, that's fine, there are things I don't believe in either. That doesn't mean the ideas are not worth exploring...

I believe in the Trinity; Father, Son, Holy Spirit; and that Jesus Christ is our only provision for the gap our choices create between us and the Father.
I believe that accepting the provision Christ has made for us is the only way to close that gap.
And, I believe that God is working in our lives right this very second to remove the gaps we are constantly creating, and to blow our minds about how flippin' awesome He is.

Welcome. I'm glad you're here. Now, let's talk about it.
